72 911 Seat Angle Bracket Help

I'm attempting to reinstall the original bucket seats in a 72 911 (performance seats currently installed), but there's a hang-up with the seat angle brackets. The seats won't fold forward and the blot will cut into the seat. I'm not sure if these are even the correct brackets, are or need to be bent, etc. Please see the attached pictures of bracket installed with performance seat and bracket pulled. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

That looks to be the correct bracket that mounts to the bottom of the stock seat, between seat and rail. From the second photo, it appears to be bent and I believe you could bend it back, more toward verticle with no problem. They are a snug fit on the stock seat, but there should be no protuding into the seat.
From the top photo, it looks as if the bracket was bent inward as the non-stock seat is much narrower than an original.

Thanks, L.J., for your help. I've bent the brackets out as you suggested which has provided more room for the bolt to clear the seat, but folding the seat forward is still a task. Maybe I'll try to bend them a bit more. Thank you, again
