why I built my shop

guess which one has the swiss cheese oil tank, some of you may have seen the red one on ebay. A buddy bought it and was going to drive it back but it didn't run, he also bought the kit 356 speedster with the supossedly 356 motor and t/a, we'll see on that one. Anyway the 75 has 43 k on the chassis and an 80 motor with 6 k on it. It has the carrera chain tensionor up date. He ended up buying the guys truck and trailer and bringing them both back to Houston from Fla, he brought the 75 up here this weekend and we had it running pretty good by Sunday considering it had sat up for 6 years. The igniton unit was fried or at least putting out an intermittent squeal so we went to Advanced Auto and bought a MSD unit for 238 and had it running by noon. It was a fun working on Porsche weekend, we had a blast. Got the webers synced real good on the T and it is also running sweet. Fun weekend.

Sounds like a good time...seriously.
Wish I had freinds that worked on their cars, I would volunteer
just to learn.

Do you also have a British car? I see oil stains:p Just kidding, wish I had a shop that size.

I had a Norton 750 Commando with the Combat motor, that should explain it, or an Alfa.
Thanks
