cost to resurface a flywheel?

Just throwing out a quick question...

A local machine shop quoted me $60 to resurface my flywheel, is this a reasonable cost? Sounds fair to me. Since I have no idea of what to expect I thought I'd ask....

Tell them it is for an old Volkswagen, guess if they hear the name Porsche it automatically makes it more expensive. 30 $ with a diamond wheel while-you-wait service (no receipt).

Here's the flywheel...all shiny and read to go... only $35- bucks to resurface...not bad.

Is there a special orientation for the input shaft bearing, or does it only line up one way...?

Revived...

So, IS there a special orientation for the input shaft bearing, or does it only line up one way...?
