Bill, I'm about to start my C2 engine into 87 chassis conversion.

I have some questions:

1. Is 964 heat tube plug'n play into B&B headers or any modifications required?
2. I was under impression that C2 heater blower doesn't fit and has to be replaced with smaller Carrera or SC units, am I wrong? It doesn't look as nice as RS tube, but real heat in my case is more important than looks or weight savings.
3. Also, looks like you left stock airbox, I thought it doesn't fit, am I wrong again?

Thanks in advance.

1) yes, as long as the B&B's have the oval 964 heat inlets and you use the stock 964 heat tube which you can see parallel to the muffler in my pics of mine

2)I used both the stok blower and airbox on mine, I deleted the blower when I installed the 993 engine using the RS heat tube. net heat is roughly the same either way.

3)again I used a stock air cleaner on both the 964 and 993 install

Headers that I found were originally on 87 Carrera, they are 1 5/8's, so I should be ok size wise, can I use Carrera's heat tube in case heat inlets are round?

For mostly street use that will be ok, and as long as the heat tube matches the header heat inlets it will work. The holes for heat in the tin are pretty uniformly sized. above the tin use 993 or 993RS, below the tin use 964 or 3.2 Carrera or 993 heat tube depending on the headers used

I'd reallly just like a bolt-in solution

Bolt on, just need to flip the flanges:
