Tire recommendations needed

Hello all, I am looking for some tire recommendations.
I need an all season, daily driver tire, inexpensive is also cool.
I live in Missouri, so rain and winter snow and ice are fators.
Any Ideas?
Thanks,
Shawn

The Tire Rack http://www.tirerack.com will have all your choices. For inexpensive, I'd go with Kumho. The hardest part to quantify will be the "cool".

I'd recommend the Yoko ES100. I had a set and they were inexpensive, but good tires. I have no idea how cool they are or how they do in ice and snow.

Whatever tire you get, make sure it has the appropriate speed rating for the type of driving you do. There are choices in inexpensive tires, but if you plan to drive your car faster than Prius, you want speed and handling characteristics to suit your car and driving. Some tires are only rated for 85 mph. Make yourself familiar with the letter and compound system on the Tire Rack website.

My own $.02 is to leave the 911 inside in bad weather, and buy a good "summer" tire, which will handle everything except ice and snow, possibly heavy rain.

The 911 is not that great of a bad weather car is all...

I think that you get what you pay for. There are "high performance" tires that many buy here, but the purchases are based on price. Let's face it, a well-driven 911 can make a so-so tire look good. But there are $200/wheel tires that are worth the money...they are THAT much better, all things being equal. I also think that wet performance is often where a street tire earns its keep. Just, my opinion. How can I say it differently? I won't put $100/wheel tires on my car.
