After removing the bumper (PITA) i noticed 2 large 1" washers/bushings on the floor, they look like brass. I have looked at everything for evidence of a washer imprint or scoring , and am stymied. Does any one have the parts schematic or fiche for the front bumper/smile or a suggestion as to where these washer/bushings would go on an SC.
The old smile although it looked ok was rotten to the core and of course all the screws with the exception of the ones in the trunk were completely corroded. Vice grips came in handy for removal! ------------------ Bob 1982 911SC Targa PCA - Founders Region |

Are they the washers from the 2 main bolts that hold the bumper on?

Could these be used as body shims. This way the parts go together and keep a good "seam". The seam is the gap between body panels.
This just got me thinking of my chevy and how the fenders go together on it... ------------------ Nick Hromyak '85 Carrera 7 & 9 Fuchs Havin' Fun in Sacramento |
