ID Various Parts Life - Advice Appreciated

I dropped the engine out of my car and through the process, I came across a few questions about a few parts.

My first question involves my clutch slave cylinder. A while back I started a thread saying that my clutch sometimes wouldn't return all the way back. The diagnosis was that it was either the master or slave cylinder. Well, I now have the great opportunity to replace the clutch slave cylinder, but is this $100 part going to fix my problem? Here's a picture of the current one. Does it look dead? I have no idea what a good one is suppose to look like.

Secondly, I disconnected this wire to remove the transmission from the engine. After I did so, I realized that I have no idea which wire went were. The plugs looks the same, and the place it plugs into can twist all the way around. Does it matter which wire goes into which hole...and how would I know if I did it right? I'm not even sure what it does.

Third, I have some wires that the hard plastic coating is just disintegrating off. It doesn't look like it's a problem. Would you replace them or just leave them as is?

Fourth, I took off my back tires and found my brake discs looking like so. I plan on touching them up with some brake cleaner. The brakes worked fine before I started this project, although sometimes they might squeal at slow speeds. Do you think I have a bigger problem than just a little cleaning won't fix? I plan on getting new brake pads after I get the car back on the road as well.

Not a question, but thought I might show something I found. Wasn't planning on replacing this...but looks like I'll be ordering another part that wasn't on my initial list. It's the engine mount brace, passenger side. Can't believe I never noticed it before taking the engine out of the car.

Finally, and I have no picture of this. There are three rubber hoses attached to the fuel system that go toward the passenger side of the car. At least one of them look like it could use a replacement. Having a problem figure out what they are called. I believe they are stock...black, rubber, about 2" diameter.

Could be either one. The photo doesn't reveal anything other than the fluid may be very old. Not sure rebuilding kits are available for clutch master or slave. Please check as that would be more economical and if done correctly, equivalent.

That's the connection to the speed sensor, thus speedometer. Polarity shouldn't be a problem, but if the speedo doesn't read correctly, reverse the wires and retry.

Timing pickup wire harness. I'd replace them.

Rust is normal on an unprotected rotor indicating disuse. If the brakes are working, the rust will wipe off in the first few brake applications. Otherwise you could spend a few hours wire brushing.

It's a common issue since there's no convenient method of supporting the threaded portion while an often massive amount of torque is applied to loosen the bolt. If your tech or welding vendor is resourceful, they could reinforce and reweld. In any case, I suggest drilling out the existing threads, then use a bolt, washer and nut as used in earlier 911s that have rear mount bars that don't break.

2" OD? Maybe others can chime in who know more than I. If they're straight sections, take to dealer or imported car parts store and match ID and length. Purchase the requisite hose clamps also.
