Defroster knob re-dying Instructions and pictures

I re-dyed and repainted my defroster control knobs. This is a simple project which completely enhances the interior of your 911.

Complete instructions and images...

Link doesn't work. Real question is how did you get them off the arms? I have never been able to and I'm afraid I'll break it.

I have fixed the link and it does explain how to get them off. Did you manage to get in. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Put a pair of small vise grips, loosely on the shaft below the knob. The jaws should be touching the shaft, but not tight.

Tap the vise grips lightly with a small hammer. The knob will slide right off.

To re-install, push on, put a rag over the knob, and tap lightly with a rubber hammer.
