I've searched for past threads on this without luck. (Sorry to Bob Tilton. I never checked that old thread. You can get similar pricing on chrome work just checking platers in your area.) Does anybody have any experience with filling in the little pits in the pot metal on the old horn grills after the chrome was stripped? Just had mine stripped & they have a lot of small pits. So I volunteered to take them home to try to sand them down to try to get rid of (minimize) the pits before I take them back to the plater. They aren't going to guarantee them to be perfect & are charging me $25 each with me trying to sand (solder & sand?) the grills myself.
