Question Fundamentalist wiring....

Hi Gang,

I'm starting to plan in earnest for my 2.7 conversion into my 914. The motor is from a "75 2.7 S. I'm running in a minimalist environment with carbs/headers (no CIS, etc). Does anyone have a schematic of the most basic connections that the motor needs to run? If I recall, the '75 dizzy needs a CDI? Is it possible to run without one? The basic wiring I'm after is alternator, starter, and dizzy. It would probably be similar to what guys run in their race cars. The fuel pump is already run on it's own circuit. Any input would be greatly appreciated!
