Factory adjustable springs plates, what tool?
 

I am preparing to lower my '86 with factury adjustable spring plates. I will be using the eccentric bolt in the plates for making fine adjustments.

Here is the problem - a regular wrench is too thick to fit between the spring plate halves. I purchased a special wrench from Vertex that was supposed to be for this task. Guess what, it is also too thick. I think it is a 36mm. Apperantly Vertex gets this wrench from Automotion/performance - Interestingly they sell it cheaper than getting it from Automation directly.

So question is where can I get a wrench that will do the job?

I got my wrench 2 years ago from
Automotion and it is thin enough. Just remember, it is not for applying a lot of pressure, so have the weight off the wheel.

yeah, my first one split with what i thought was not a lot of pressure. the second one is holding up still. easier on the tool to lower than raise. cool tool if it lasts.
