Brake Pressure Problem

I've got a strange problem with the brakes. I jumped in the race car to move it last night and the brakes are fully pressurized as if you were standing on the pedal. Normal play in the pedal is gone, it's set firm, the brakes are on and set firm, rear brake lights on (they run on a pressure switch).

Anyone ever heard of this? I just don't know how a system can gain pressure.

Thanks,

Russ
