I think Paul Guard makes the best ones, but they aren't cheap. Depends on your definition of "affordable", I guess.

GT LSDs are expensive primarily due to the indestructible hardened 4340 Chromoly body. These bodies are extremely difficult to machine, and in fact are precision-ground where other differentials are merely lathe-turned.
Due to cheap Chinese-made diffs that have recently bombarded the Porsche market place, Guard will be offering "Club" versions of all their most popular LSDs, including G50, 915, 901, and a couple others. The bodies of these will still be of higher quality material and machining than any other brand LSD, but the reduced production costs will reduce end user prices considerably. More "affordable" with identical performance might be worth waiting for. |

I have a factory ZF and a Guards (GT-Geary). Nothing wrogn with the ZF except the age, the GT is a thing of beauty and precision.
Great news on the "Club" version, please keep us posted.
