Incorrect Pelican Parts Description? Help!
Hi guys, I am doing the SSI heat exchanger back date and bought a nice set from a fellow user here. However, it didn't come with the longer oil line (thermostat one).
The gentleman I bought the parts from has supplied me with a part number. However, when I read the detailed Pelican description of the SSI set-up, it tells me I need another number....and then to further confuse matters, their own price and item description below has a different number from what they say in the description above for cars with a front oil cooler. Basically, I have the trombone "cooler" up front...which oil line do I need in addition to the smaller one? Thanks in advance, Rob

this thread on a GHL 930 header install has the info you need to get the correct oil lines. You only replace the line from the crankcase to the T-stat in the fenderwell. It is actually 2 sections that bolt together and attach to a bolt on the oil cooler on the engine.
Hope this helps. GHL Headers and K27 install questions
