Obligatory Photos: Spring is Here

Well I hate to waste space but I just could not resist today: by the looks of the weather Spring has finally arrived in Atlanta.

I lowered the car over the weekend and I'm super happy with how it came out.

I decided a bath and wax was in order as well...so here goes.

Please feel free to join in if you have any recent nice pics

Matt

Hey Matt,
Do you work on BMWs too?
Your sig looks rather familiar and I purchased some parts from a person named Matt with a very similar sig.

If this is you...Aloha!

And if it's not...Aloha anyway!

I won't talk about Spring where I'm at.

at least there is no snow on the ground in CT right now, but give it 24 hours and we'll check again. It's still only 27 degrees this morning, hardly spring.

Nice car. Go Dawgs! I guess you went to the car wash, since our politicians won't let us wash our own cars in ATL due to the drought.

I am worried about that TT not being in good hands.

No waxing/polishing is done in the sun!
No polishing compound is used!

Try a randome-orbit 6 or 8" polisher and follow the instructions.
Always in the shade:
Mothers Cleaning Wax and Mothers Showtime Gold on the foam applicator-pad works great.
Follow up with the buffer pads: WOW

Only the hard to reach corners are done by hand.

Have fun tonite; it's snowing here with more to come.

Yes it was... 12" of the stuff a week ago. Everytime it melts, we get hit with another storm, plus lake effect! It has since melted; now we're supposed to pick up two inches of rain on Monday to wash away the salt and sand (hopefully). We have our first track days mid April...I don't think my car will be out and ready by then.

Insurance is on, valves are done, oil changed, brake fluid flushed, Swepco 201 in the trans and 7" of new snow on the ground..... Maybe I should go skiing!
The best thing about getting snow at this time of year is you know it won't be around long!
Hope you get to drive today!

It's been convertible weather around here for a few weeks now. (Except for the last two - raining...)
