Fitting 16x7s on a 1972E
What tires sizes would you recommend for 16x6(f) & 16x7(r) without fender mods, rolling etc. This is for a street-only car Thanks in advance!

205/55-16 easy front 215's in a pinch on the rear--maybe. I have run 215's on 7's all the way around with aggressive settings on a 71 before. For what's worth.

Which wheels are they, Fuchs, Phone Dials, Boxster? If they're Fuchs, you're probably looking at a 215/60 in back. I have 16x6 and 16x7 Boxster wheels. The 16x7 has an offset very close to the 15x7 "R" wheels, which allows a 225/50 in back on a '69-'77 narrow body car (not sure about the '65-'68s). If I recall, there may also be a 16x7 Phone Dial that has this offset as well, not sure.
