Where to Put Go Spurs Go Flag

Everyone but me here in South Texas has at least one Go Spurs Go flag clipped to the car window, and held in place by closing the window. My problem. Top off the Targa since St Patricks day, windows never closed. Don't know where to put the flag. I know you Dallas people don't share this dilemma, but I was hoping you LA people can tell me how you hang your Go Lakers Go flags on on you-all's Targas.

I'd just wait a while. Within a week or so from this Saturday, you won't need to worry about it any more.

That's a question for Kurt to answer!

Hey, in football, it's GO BEAVERS! Anybody out there witness what they did to the Irish on New Year's weekend? East coast sports writers said the Beavers from Corvallis, Oregon didn't deserve to be on the same field as those young lads from Notre Dame. Guess what? Those writers were correct. Anybody on the east coast remember the final score? Despite all this? Put team flags in my Por-sha? Well, maybe...when folks are ice skating in hell.

Yeah, I'm thinking about driving through San Antonio with this one!

I'd go for it. A little while ago here in Portland, I saw a sign on the back of a truck that said:

"The Blazers are the Lakers' *****: Deal with it!"

I'm sure the guy took some heat, but he was right. :-)

Larryboy,
As a Mavericks fan, I can tell you where the best place to stick your Spurs flag is. In all seriousness, congratulations, if the Mavs had to lose I would rather it be to a Texas team.
PWD 72S,
As a Notre Dame alum, I witnessed that debacle of a game. I have watched Notre Dame for 26 of the 30 years that I have been on this planet and that is the most sound rear kicking in all areas that I have seen them get. Even when Miami let us have it in the 80's it didn't look THAT bad. I could be the typical bitter fan and say that the Beavers should have acted like they had been there before, but hey, they are just college kids and I would rather just say congratulations to them and their fans. However, I'm sure the Irish will have their revenge sometime down the road.
Mike

No doubt about that Mike. Notre Dame has been on top far too long to let this little setback keep them down. Just that here in Oregon, the Beavers have been the team everybody else wanted for their homecoming game. Heck, we're shocked by the turnaround, the fact they whupped the Irish. I remember all to well when they were known is these parts as the meager Beavers. The other Oregon Team? The sitting Ducks http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/smile.gif. There is always next year, right?

I've been a Dennis Erickson fan since he coached the Coug's. The Beaver's victory just goes to show how underrated the Pac10 really is!

pwd72s 05-19-2001 05:14 PM

Here we go...the sports press. Maybe not many of you realize that the Beavers almost missed that invitation to the Fiesta Bowl. THe bowl officials wanted Nebraska (I think it was) to play the Irish instead of a PAC10
team. If the team is west of the MIssissippi, the east coast press chooses to ignore it. How'd the Beavers get in? The PAC 10 officialdom voted to pull out of the BCS, go their own direction, if the Beavers, with their one loss season were not chosen.
Now that I've defended the PAC 10 & the Beavers, I want to apologize to the Irish fans there. I don't like the "trash talking" that goes on in the PAC 10 any more than you do. It shows a lack of class. NOt just Beavers...ALL the PAC10 sems to enjoy this krap, but this old goat doesn't like it. Not one bit.

But, back to the thread...NO team flags on my P car...noosir, never.

In L.A. about the only sticker you'll see in a Porsche window is PCA.
