Does 7R engine case really worth it ?

I have a 72T motor and I plan to built a street 2.4 motor with some improvements :

-10.5:1 JE pistons, 85 mm
-PMO 40 mm
-JB racing twin plug distributor
-S cams
-SSI and 2 outlets sport exhaust

I read that 7R engine case are stronger, but they are hard to find and priced accordingly... Is it a good idea to start with a 5R (72T) ? Comments welcome !!

Thanks
JD

JD,

If the engine is to be raced (continous operation above 7K), then a 7R is the only way to go and further, it should be shuffle-pinned as well.
