This baby is easily going to be worth 40k especially with the MM rebuilds

"This is the last year Porsche put the manganese engine block in the production cars."

Well, with a manganese block it should pull $60K

I don't think the engine/trans is installed in the car, being it is sitting way high in the back, and the only picture of the engine is it sitting on the ground.

"This is really a hard car to find, but the parts for it can be found anywhere !"

"Some of the parts can be found in the dirt behind the motorcycle, some other parts are in the dirt leaning against the side of the building, many of the parts are in th dirt right outside of the door, and of course, a lot of the parts are attached to the 73 chevy pickup that I'm in the process of restoring in the dirt behind the blackberry bushes"

He had it listed earlier for 6500 with no bids and a reserve - then relisted it for $8500 with NO RESERVE - These guys that list Motor Meister - I have to resist the urge to shoot em an email and tell that listing Motor Meister is not going to help them sell the car.

Makes perfect sense to me, should be a snap to fix it and get 40 grand. I hope MM put some of those nice stickers on the fan shroud screaming they worked on it.

Typical exaggerating seller .... those parts behind the blackberry bush are NOT going to be easy to find!

Actually, if you let Maaco just spray the car (you do ALL the prep) and pay for their top of the line paint you get a nice job... but really, the hard work is the prep work not the spray.

The bottom line here is the guy doesnt know what his car is worth.. actually, for $8k IF that is a fresh motor its a steal. I dont know anything about the place that did it.. how bad could they suck with new pistons and cylinders?

But $40k is of course not going to happen, ever.

If you set aside his $40k comment its not a bad deal if someone needs a motor and a shell to race with or something (motor for a street car). But again, I dont know the shop he mentions.. I would like to see his detailed reciept... That motor might be nice in my 69.

maybe the price includes the motorcycle, the chevy, the blackberry bushes and the land its on then it makes sense.
