How many 911 Turbos have been manufactured
Does anyone know how many 911 Turbos have been manufactured in total. Is there any source for this info? If not, does anyone have an educated estimate. I would like to know the total production but I am especially interested how many 911 Turbos were made in 1986. Thanks in advance. Phil

Phil, Peter Morgan gives production figures for each model in his book "Original Porsche 911".
Figures for 1986 are as follows: (ROW)1158 + (Can)88 + (US)1424 = 2670 Overall figures are complicated by the production numbers for slant nose versions in '87 & '88 but approx total 930 production (Coupe, Targa & Cabriolet) from 1975 - 89 was around 19-20,000. I'm sure others will chip in with more accurate overall figures.
