There's always a few "S's" for sale on the Early 911S Registry site:

I've always wanted an early 911, so I keep an eye out for leads. Here are two of them:
1969 911 E The first car, I've actually corresponded with the seller. The engine was rebuilt 15k miles ago, the repaint and interior were done more recently and are near flawless. The reason is hasn't gone higher, in my opinion, is that it's one of the short-wheelbase models. The 911 E seems to be okay; my primary interest in it is that the seller is a member of the local PCA and only 15 minutes away. It looks like a mild resto case to me, but I haven't checked it out yet. No doubt the money left over from selling my SC to buy it would pay to get it into fine shape before the next R Gruppe get-together :-) HTH, Emanuel ------------------ Emanuel Brown 1983 911 SC Targa http://home.att.net/~epbrown01/91183.jpg |
