It shouldn't. I imagine your starter wire and grounds should be able to handle that if it ever needed that much. That number just refers to the amount of amps that can be drawn when starting the car cold. That's a pretty big battery, unless you run your car in winter you probably don't need something that big.
Of course you didn't mention what year of car you had........... |

changing th battery will not affect how many amps will be pulled by the various loads on the car
But, it is possible that if the battery gets drawn down a lot and frequently, then the alt. will be running more to re-charge it. Of course, why would that happen with a bigger battery? So, I would say No. |
