how to remove air pump 1978SC

It is time to remove the air pump and give me some room to work. How do you start. What parts do I need? Is there step by step guidance anywhere in print or video or on this forum? I want one of those engine bays that are clutter free.
I understand the legal ramifications.

Do a search. There are a number of threads on how to do this, including how to plug the 6 holes.

Keep the pump and ancillaries. Even if you don't need it, if you sell the car to someone in another state tha requires it, he may need it.
