Can anyone ID the year/make model of the car in this song?
Its at the very end, so you can click near the end of the song if you can't listen to this 80's song.

Sounds like a Porsche but what year would be pretty tough. It could be an SC.
|
It sort of sounds pre-89 but who can say for sure? It has a bit of rumble like a 3.2 but again, can't say for sure.
|
Without a doubt, a Citroen 2V, probably vintage 1948..
http://www.autozine.org/Classiccar/html/Citroen/2CV.html (yeah, sure, I never lie, but maybe I'm lying now?) :D :D :D . . . Plecostomus Your wife said it looked like a Pleco http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plecostomus I've heard of "cat" people but never "catfish" people :) |
Haha. I didn't expect anyone to ID the year :) When I heard this song today for the first time it was refreshing to hear the 911! Personally, I think it was a SC :]
|
YEah.. sounds like a stock SC
|
Thanks for making the song stick in my head today!
I have a tiger plecos in my fish tank. Cool guy, but I don't know why I spent the extra money, when the thing mostly hides during the 'light' hours. Oh well. |
1986 Carrera :)
|
definitely a 917. with street exhaust of course.

Sure :) What you need are the garden variety Plecostomus. My guys are always cruising around and they're friendly. They stop to check you out and you can see their eyes move to look at you. Funny stuff (no,I'm not cracking up) |
Its an 83sc, 3.0L with upgraded chain tensioners. Approx 1/2 tank of gas and the drivers window is down.
GEEZ!! I cant believe you guys missed it... |
Yeah, but what color!! :)
|
I wish it was at the beginning of the song!!!
