Clutch Linkage
I recently purchased a rebuilt transmission from a fellow Pelican for my '79 SC. The transmission works fine but the clutch throw out lever is different. I discovered this after installing the transmission and engine in my car.
The difference is my lever has a pin that rides in a slot on the throw out lever shaft. The new one doesnt have this slot or pin. The lever is held on only by the snap ring that holds the adjustment lever in place. Is this of concern. It's all back together and seems to work fine. I just dont want to find out this is a bad idea at an inopportune time. The fork from the new to me transmission has part # 915.116.713.5R. Any help would be appreciated.

Transmission linkage............
The setup you now have sounds like my transmission. Just make certain that the snap ring is securely seated. You should not have any problem with it. Good luck!
