This thread keeps resurrecting. Oh well, I guess we like to show off our girls. Spouse, and daughter, at Petersen Museum show last month. Spring break trip to California , and the girls generously allowed me one afternoon's break from the beaches and shopping.

I'm heading to the Peterson in April, after the 4/22 Aircooled gathering. How was it? any advice?

Quite a nice exhibition. Well worth the modest entry price. I enjoyed it and the girls did too. We really enjoyed the '70s era commercials they had running on video. And I enjoyed many of the non-Porsches too. Must have spent at least 30 minutes looking at "El Rey". Not my style, but fascinating.

Awesome, thanks! Agreed on El Ray. My take is that the Peterson 'gets' the big picture, yet knows the niches well.

Happy wife! At the Olsen House in Cushing, Maine. Think Wyeth and Christina’s World.

Well, I guess I should count my blessings. On our first date Cha told me her favorite car was Porsche. Married 28 years and she still loves them.

914 Beer Cooler

Not a spouse, just an ex-GF blast from the past I thought everyone will enjoy.

The 914 was the second sold in Kansas City, so this was a PCA event in the spring or summer of 1970. Car got swapped for a 914-6 in July of 1971.

FYI the 914 frunk with the spare moved to the rear and the drain hole plugs removed will hold 200# of ice and six cases of beer! Doesn't keep ice well though!
