I think daughters love their dad's Porsche more than wives do. I could be wrong, but I think it is a different thing altogether.

Broke,

the only way my girl is going to bust out the tools and go near the 911 is if she drops jewelry into the engine compartment by accident.

Hmmm? I take photos almost everyday and I've now realized I have NO photos of my wife with any of my Pcars? (3). Fact is she doesn't really take any interest in them? Good news though, when I told her last year that I was gonna go out and buy a Ferrari for $100,000, she just said, "that's nice" Ended up buying the TT instead, but I can't complain about the support she gives me.

This photo was taken in Cali during a dream building stint I did one afternoon; it was about 20 years ago when I was trying to figure out what car I was gonna buy. I ended up going for a Porsche and the rest is history!

Us today, Now Grand-Parents and living the middleclass dream! ha, ha!

My wife is my pit crew when I go PCA racing. She can swap tires and bleed the brakes with confidence. She can also back our race trailer better than me which is something I probably should not admit here. I have had other racers ask me if she had any sisters, seriously. Her dad was a diesel truck mechanic and he had his own shop, so she hung out with him there a lot.

Here she is on a rainy PCA Rocky Mt. Region Ladies Day event with her Carrera. She chose that '84 Carrera over an engagement ring. Two and half years together so far. However just recently I destroyed my racecar in Topeka and her Carrera is starting to look like a pretty good E class candidate to me...... Trouble ahead.
Time will tell.

The real test will be if she will turn wrenches AFTER you say "I do". They do A LOT of things, wink wink, nudge nudge, before they say "I do" that they seem to forget how to do after.

Sorry, no P-Car Pics. She hates my 911 completely - "ugliest car ever made", she's told me. I, being the incredibly patient man I am, am still married to her.
