Just noticed this - - wheels.....

Noticed today that my rear wheels slant inwards a little..... closer in at the top than at the bottom? (like this -as if looking at the rear of the car..../....\.... just not that dramatic) Is this bad? upon inspecting the tires I discovered the treadwear is uneven (inside being more bald than outside), but there are no bumps, just a smooth wear.

Is this a suspension problem? what should i do?

Thanks in advance ! you guys are great

Its called negative camber and it is a good thing to a point. Too much and you get uneven wear when driving on the street. Not enough and you loose grip. It is a compensation for changes in geometry when you corner the car. Most of us like lots of it and to hell with buying new tires

And yes... this belongs in the 911 forum

Milo,
Just like the front end, the rear has alignment adjustments for camber and toe.
For your use, looks like one or both need adjustment.
Racers usually run negative camber front and rear for better traction.
A race alignment doesn't wear well for street use.
This isn't a big deal for a decent alignment shop.

good idea or bad idea - -- - use the fix it book and do it myself?(that is if it has this type of thing in it) don't feel like i should have to take it to a shop..... and i feel i should get to know her underside a little better..... - - i'll probably get new tires before i head off for college anyway - - these ones are starting to get a little old... or worn....
