911 Climate Control Unit
I have a 1991 911 turbo with what seems to be a non functional climate control unit. It worked a month ago and now it doesn't - stuck on hot!. I've checked all the fuses and relays (front and rear) and they seem all be in good order. Power is delivered to the climate control unit (all the lights and button activation indicators work) but all the functions - fans, temp control, vents, A/C, defrost - do not. I sent the unit out for repair -and it was supposedly repaired - but nothing has changed. Am I missing something here??? I suspect the control unit is still non-fuctional.
Appreciate any words of wisdom ![]() Pete |

The heat problem sounds like a servo. Here's a good DIY with instructions on how to repair a servo.
But if nothing is working at all, it seems more catastrophic than that. Can you find a friend or local shop with a CCU to swap?

I did check out a couple of the servo's - temp mixing ones on each side of center and they also seem to be in working order. More indication it's most likely the control unit
