Newbie needs help re: engine missing

I do not drive my 911sc much ( I know shame on me) ; but here is my situation. The car sat for several months. I charged the battery and it started right up. The car's engine did miss a bit at low rpm until it warmed up. I took it out for a spin, and at it runs strong until I get into 3rd gear. Then it feels like it is missing.

Since this happens only when I am driving faster than around 35mph, I was wondering if it might be a fuel injector problem.

I was thinking about adding a fuel injector cleaner to the gas but I wanted to check with this forum before doing so.

Thanks for your help

I tend to get a miss on my SC around 35 as well, has been too different things now, one was fouled plugs, the other was too lean a mixture.

Dude, your engine isn't missing, It's just in the back. that's how they build these things. I know you're a newbie but come on ;)
Sorry, couldn't help myself.

Sure sounds like an ignition problem to me, I'd be checking your plug wires.

I would install fresh NGK plugs and add a pint of Techron to a 1/4 or less gas tank.
Make sure each plug connector is on solid. They should click when pressed on.
Needs some force to remove the plug connector and to reinstall.
This is the easy stuff. Go deeper if this doesn't fix the problem.
