Door issues - Success and then nagging little bugger
Guys,
After reviewing threads on this fine forum, I tore into my door, rekeyed my lock, removed the door closing mechanism, figured out how it worked, cleaned and lubed it, reinstalled it - works like a champ. Door previously would not lock. Thanks to all those who posted on this topic. Anyway, during the process of taking off my door panel, those little whitish, plastic bushings that push through a hole and hold the rod that goes from my inside door latch to the rotating, spring loaded brass plate that pulls the rod to open the closer. What the heck are those things called and where can I get some. Anyone have a part number for them? Can't find them in the Pelican site, but then I'm not sure what they are called. Mine are all brittle and don't hold the rods any more. Anyone have any for sale? Gary

It's called different things, including "door handle clip".
You should order a few of them for spares since they are cheap and break with use. 993-531-563-00-M100 http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopcart/911M/POR_911M_INTpnl_pg3.htm# I'd also buy a seat back release lever too, since those break eventually. http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopcart/911M/POR_911M_INTsts_pg3.htm#item10 |

Rusnak - thanks a million - I probably look at that and did not realize what it was. I'll order several. Thanks again.
