How do you fix a horn?

One of the horn trumpets doesn't work. (This is not a problem with the horn button, relay or wire connectors).
I remembered a post where someone said that you can take the horn apart a fix it. Well, I took it apart but can't find anything that looks bad.
I've just finished searching and can't find the repair info. Anyone remember where it was or know what I can fix inside the horn itself.

did you try hooking the horn up directly to a battery (using any wire, i used speaker wire) to confirm they were in fact blown?

I replaced the short horn with another one and it works but I would like to see if I can fix the old one.

I remember buying a set of used horns from Oklahoma Foreign. That fixed it.

Try hooking the horn up directly to the battery w/ some wires.

If it doesn't work, reverse the wires and see if that does it. did for me.

Sometimes a shot of oil/wd40 will bring them back to life.
