Question GOOD PORSCHE SHOP IN ATLANTA ???

Any one know a good 911 shop in Atlanta???
I am ready for some work on my car. I have had my SC since 9/2000 and only done oil change and valve adjustment. My neighbor takes his to Doc's in Stone Mountain and wants me to go there. This shop is good but 2-3 months is normal for them to keep your car(so I heard). I live in the Northeastern Suburbs (Duluth).
Thanks.

Thumbs up

Jack Lewis Enterprises in Norcross
Don't Know their #- call Info.
Their shop is awesome, looks straight out of a magazine or T.V. program. I have no idea how long they keep cars or what the wait is, if any, to get an appointment. I visited the shop during our PCA concours school and was very impressed.

Ha! I am writing this from my office in Duluth (live in L'ville-Suwanee area). If you want a good mechanic that's not expensive or glamorous, call Sal Barbagallo at S-n-L Automotive (770-497-8862). He did my 45K service and there were no surprises (the cost was a very pleasant surprise). I also spent some time watching him do the valve adjustment. . .it was clear that he'd done many before. He's in Duluth at 120 and Buford Hwy.

Another alternative is Robyn Hayes at Black Forest. He's located in the Road Atlanta business park. . .r-e-a-l-l-y knows his stuff. A little pricier but it will be right! It's also fun to watch the track activity going on in the background when you're at his shop. His # is 770-967-3331. Feel free to tell them I referred you. . .I know both of them pretty well.

Good luck.

can't speak from experience, but i've had many people mention good things about german motor tech. i think they're in norcross, which is close to you. you might want to ask around about them, too.

there are several people in the club who use international performance in roswell. a little ways from you, but not too bad if it's not rush hour. they did a ppi for me once, but luckily i haven't had to have any major work done since i got my tranny overhauled when i first bought my car.

good luck!

I have been using Performance Imports (Tilly Mill and Peachtree Industrial in Norcross) or Franz Blam in Tucker for years.

Both are excellent...

I have had some experience with German Motor Tech. . .without going into detail, IT WAS NOT GOOD. I'd stronly recommend going elsewhere.

I'd have to agree with Mike on German Motor Tech. I actually purchased my car there. Great up front, but after the sale the door wasn't as easy to get in unless you wanted to spend some money. Jerry knows his stuff but you have to get past Jim first.
