Which aftermarket VDO speedo to use?

I need to use after market gauges in my 67 912 with a 1978 915 trans can somebody tell me which hall effect pulse # to use with a electric programmable VDO speedo

Well, you can use the 915/SC speedo. Is the sender on the 915 damaged or removed?

Or if the 67 has a wheel/gear driven speedo like the old VW..... there is a conversion pod that allows for an electronic one.....then there's a few that use magnetics set on the drive shafts and read off of those....lots of options.

Thanks for your response and those options that i did not know about. I did install a new speedo sender on the 915 trans I am hoping to use a programmable VDO gauge but I think I need to go aftermarket to match the tach and water temp gauges for the V8 I put in the 912, sorry at least I didn't do that conversion to a 911 now that Ive been working on and learning to admire a Porsche I regret defiling it
