CIS hose help please!

I am finished with my rebuild (78 SC), and almost ready to start the car, but there is a hose remaining to connect from the CIS, and I can`t remember where to connect it;
In the picture below, there should be a ~1 ft hose, 5 mm diam. that connect to the T black plastic connector one the side indicated by an arrow. What is this hose and where does it go ?

Thanks,

Aurel

I have an 82 SC ... the decel valve hose runs to that T connector which is attached to the throttle body (just like yours).

The other line (your missing line) runs from the T to a nipple on my cruise control servo - nipple closest to firewall (there are two nipples on the servo).

Hope this helps.

Yes !!! I found that hidden nipple. You saved me, thanks. Now, there is another bigger hose going from the cruise control servo, which is disconnected at the moment. Any idea where that one goes?

Man ... not sure where it ultimately goes but it runs into the center hole in the sheet metal. It is the hole at the center of the engine along the firewall.

I looked in Bentley and it gives no info on it.

Aurel,

I believe someone asked the same question a while back, the larger hose off the cruise control was just a breather hose and goes no where. Like MCA said, the hose disappears into the shock carrier sheet metal at the firewall.

I did find that replacing the Cruise control vac hose made all the difference in my CC unit holding it's speed.
