I already knew I needed new shift coupler bushings but haven't gotten to it. Now my shifter is REALLY loose and sloppy. So I took off the console to have a look and it appears the "rod bushing or bearing" is just hanging loose on the shift rod. I can't tell if the shift LEVER bushing is bad or not but I'd like to have the 2 replaced at the shifter and the 2 at the coupler. I will take it to a technician to have the work performed. How much should I expect to pay? I would normally do this myself, but air conditioning season is in full tilt right now so I don't have the time! If you couldn't tell by my handle, I own an HVAC company and am a licensed/certified technician.

It took Tyson about an hour to do mine. the shop book might say standard time is 2 or 3 hours. The parts are not more than $50.

Those G.E. Parts carry a year warranty you know. I don't know if they would honor the application though.
