The 930 is the most functional of the bunch in that it has the most down force.
Also, if you add the little black rear fender protectors to the side, and if you look at it from the side, it looks just like a 930??? Sorry. A.R. used it on his C2 and 993 RUF single turbo cars. |

there earlier tails cut lift, but not to zero or into negative #s The more elegant RSA type w/ matching front lip spoiler cuts total lift at 152mph from 397# to 37.5# |
Great info again Bill, thx.
It is interesting if you look at the Poll Results, almost 80% prefer an OEM for the year result. ;) |
My choice wasn't listed, I voted w/ my wallet. Ditched the oem and bought a Shaw RSA

Bill, I thought the RSA and 80's Carrera tail was almost the same, just enough different so it would mount to a Carrera -v- C2 lid??
If so, one could say the RSA is tied so far with no tail for most popular by a good margin. One idea would be to do a late Carrera tail in carbon fiber and mask off the lip area to leave the CF exposed instead of rubber. Cool! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...ys/explode.gif |
The RSA tail for the 964 fits the Carrera/SC direct bolt on. The 964 requires an adapter plate.

I agree that the 930 has more d/f, but you asked about looks. The majority of peeps agree that 930 tails on nb cars simply don't look right. |
