Sheet Metal Repair Thickness for a 911
I just wanted to see the general consensus on the best thickness of sheet metal for spot repairs on the 911.
I have a few holes I am getting ready to patch up and Im looking for the best thickness to use that is available locally! Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Jon W. |

I have a few sheets of 18,20 and 22 so I can match closer to whatever I am repairing.

Thanks that is what I was using now too :
20 Gauge and 22 Gauge however I do think 20 looks to be the best, just harder to find. I can find 22 Gauge all day long out here 20 isnt available locally, as of yet! Jon W. Thanks for the tips! |

i have the local sheet metal shop wack out several 24"X24" pieces to keep in stock. 18/20/22. then there's always something around when you need it.
