Help with trailing arm for 1976 911?

When I check the Pelican part numbers for trailing arms it shows a different part for a 1976/77 and 1980/89. Is there a difference in trailing arms or can I use one from a 1980?
Thanks, Blair.

AFAIK, the only difference is the mounting arrangement for the rear sway bar drop link. Up to '77 alloy control arms use a ball pivot attachment; 77-on use a threaded hole.

Hope this helps,
Sherwood

Thanks for the information. Can you modify the '80's arm to work with a '76?
Blair.
