What is 93010591112 ?

I have a repair receipt from 2002 showing this part number and it says "Chain Tensioner Kit"

I'm looking for some official verification that this is the compete and proper kit to be used in an '83SC.

I get no match using the Pelican Parts search. No match on Google either.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks,

Mike

Try searching with this:

930 105 911 12

The spaces make all the difference.

That makes much more sense, he mistyped the part number on the first post.

Thanks all. I did double check...receipt has the part no. typed in exactly as I wrote above. Lot's of Porsche part nos. on the receipt....all are exactly 11 digits long. None less, none more. Computer generated receipt form so perhaps only a max of 11 digits is allowed and the mechanic had to drop something?

930 105 911 912 comes up in PP search as superceded by OEM-93010591201...a special order, non returnable chain tensioner kit. It's priced oddly too....2 lines and 2 different prices.

c109740....is this (930 105 911 912) a hydraulic type tensioner or simply a replacement of what came on the car originally?????

It's the hydraulic type tensioner. My car is a '74 and I bought it as an upgrade, it didnt come with it. My repair summary says it cost $1,132.40 for the kit and labor 7 hours at 115.00 an hour. Currently I have a dispute with them about what they charged (They are looking into i as we speak). This kit is only $650.000 all over the internet and I called another repair place in my area and they said they charge $1,300 for the product and installation. This repair shop I went to wil get a earful on this site if they dont reduce it.

This kit has been listed on ebay almost continuously for the past while. It is usually $535 but they put the price up to $595 for a few days just so people know they are getting a deal! Just wait a few days and it will be at $535 again.
