I've got my 911 up in the air and I can't get the pads out! There are 2 small pins or bushings inside the piston that won't detach from the pad.
Any suggestions or am I missing something? |

That's exactly what I found out and thanks for the tip. Great read. They need to be peeled off prior to removal. What's interesting is that the new pads didn't come with the factory type dampers, which makes me believe they're not needed.
Any comments? |

I don't think they usually come with the pads, you have to buy them separately. I would just reuse them even if they're not stuck to the pads. Been doing that for years with no problems.

Yes I highly recommend you use/reuse them as you will have severe squealing if you don't.
