A reply to this post or private email would be appreciated.

thanks,

There are 2 Porsche Dealers, Beechmont & Northland. I know several of the people at Beechmont, and they are good. I've met several people at Northland and they seem real nice but I don't really know any of them.

Steve Mains is the owner at The Sports Car Store. It's actually across the river now in Northern Kentucky, right next to the Cincinnati/N.Ky Intn'l Airport and Turfway, the Horse Racetrack. I've used Steve before and would highly trust a PPI from him. He has been racing and working on Porsches for MANY years.

Good luck.

My choice would be Ken Farler @ Farler Performance (513-932-1535). He's a Porsche certified master mechanic, and he services a number of the club racers in the Cincinnati & Dayton area. He's located just north of Cincinnati. I'd rather see you go to him than to one of the dealerships since you're looking at an SC. I've used him for years -- he knows his stuff.

Ken is probably the best, but he's 30 to 40 minutes north of Cincinnati and it can be pretty hard to schedule stuff with him this time of year. (He's swamped with racing clients. I go to him too.)

The Sports Car Store is 10 minutes from down town, and I believe they'd be great for a PPI.

For that matter, Danny King at P3 Automotive is another GREAT resource for a mechanic and a PPI. He's located in Centerville, OH which is closer to Dayton. About 40-45 minutes from Cincy.

-It's good to know your options.
