Replaced old belts--now they get tangled
I replaced my original 20 year old seatbelts with OEM belts from our host and noticed that the design has changed slightly. The triangle guide that is attached to the pillar does not rotate as smoothly--it tends to get cocked inward or outward and the belt gets twisted and hung up.
I reused the bolts, spacers and washers from the old belts but it seems there should be another spacer or something to keep the the guide parallel to the pillar as it rotates forward when the belt is pulled around the driver or passenger. Has anyone else replaced their aging belts and seen this? What's the fix? Pelican lists a NLA spacer for the seatbelt, but I think it's the same one I'm reusing from the old belts. I'm getting tired of reaching around behind me to unjam the guide and untwist the seatbelt to get it to extend or retract. Thanks!

Compare the hole diameter and metal thickness between the two guide parts, old and new. Any differences?
