H4 paintable fit over H1?

Will the painatble rim that goes over the H4 lights work on a set of H1 lights?

I ask because the chrome on my H1's need cosmetic work and I like the look of rims painted to match

Yep, they do. I took the painatble H4 covers to a hot rod chromw shop, and had them chromed!

Yes. I have them match painted, and installed over H1's.

what about the "non-removable" adjusting screws?

The trim ring covers the screws. You need to remove the trim ring to adjust. One bolt, 2 seconds.

Note: you need to change to the H4 mounting bolt to attach the Trim ring.

Yes, mine too. This is a ring that goes OVER that ring. Same chrome ring with adjustment screw is underneath it.
