factory alarm disconnect on 85
 

Assistance/ clarification required ...I am rechecking all of my wires after a wire fire. My factory alarm has been completely disconnected (all wires) which would explain why some of my convenience lights have never worked. I looked at some instructions posted earlier for an 87 which has the same alarm box. Jeff explained that you loin together the blue and blue red wires. Then he says cap off the ends at the control module. ??? What does that mean.
Next you cut the black wire to the dme and run it to power. Then it says to cap it off ?? Can anyone reclarify these instructions. I want to do this properly. Thanks Doug
