Weber cleaning follow-up
I pulled the Webers off my '70T to do a quick inspection and to cosmetically clean them up, I had run some fouled gas thru when I moved the car out of storage and didn't want the whole mess to turn to varnish. I just used some conventional carb cleaner from a can and then lightly brushed the carb body with a wire brush. then I dunked the carbs in hot soapy water. My question now is, what should I lubricate the linkage with? anything else I should be concerned about lubricating before I run the car again?

Lithium grease. Just get all the ball joints on the linkage lubed and you should be fine. I didn't put any lubrication on the throttle shaft in a recent rebuild I did.
