The way I see it, your ignition, timing, and timing advance was designed with the standard plug in mind. I wouldn't rock the boat.

Couldn't have said it better, Fred.
Seriously, the only way I'd go with these plugs is if I put a Vortex electric supercharger on too.

If the product works as advertised, they should be happy to trial test on a number of Porsches.....free , hopefully. Contact them . If so, I will donate my 69 for trial purposes.

The fact is that these plugs are more expensive than standard plugs. Another fact is that if they provided an advantage race teams and factory cars would use them. They are like all the other "super plugs". They are based on marketing and not performance.

This is the same technology, that Nonolgy spark plug wires are famous for. Let's see, with Nonology wires and and these plugs I should get 500 times the spark discharge, just be careful not to burn a hole in your pistons.

Interesting that they used a Prius for the dyno testing. The Prius has an Atkinson-cycle engine, which is substantially different than an Otto-cycle conventional i/c engine. Some rough details...
http://www.hybridcars.com/forums/hybrid-gasoline-engine-t81.html Makes me wonder...maybe they give a 2-3 percent boost in an Atkinson.

1,000,000 watts
746 watts = 1 HP 1,000,000/746 = 1,340 HP

Well, i'm with 2.7RACER, all I have heard is opinions.
While I understand the scepticism, I'm waiting to hear some facts. Has anyone tried these out?

And that would be $300 for my twin-plugged SC.
I doubt you'll ever get any hard facts other than what the company that makes them provides. I can't imagine, however, that bright young engineers at Toyota, GM, Ford, maybe even Porsche have said, "Hmmm....it'll only take me half an hour to throw a set of these in that test-cell engine and do a few dyno pulls. If they're any good, my reputation will be made, since we're already spending a zillion dollars per mpg saved." And I would assume they saw no dyno difference... But a pursuit of actual "facts" I suspect will only turn up "I installed them and my Pinto sure _feels_ faster..."

6 x $25 = $150
1,340hp / $150 = 8.9hp per $1 'such a deal

Yeah, but their spark is MUCH more "electrical". By that I mean, uh.....I don't know what I mean (I'm having more and more of these realizations lately
).

Actually, since it's a million watts per plug, that works out to 8,040 hp (or 16,080 hp in the cae of my engine).
