I have own this particular car since '99 and never had any problems, a weekend & good weather driver. This past winter it got really cold here in Indiana and I had neglected to drive or start this car. Sometime in January I cranked on the ignition and the vehicle did not fire. The battery seemed like it would not hold charge, so I replaced it. New battery, still would not turn over. I checked this forum in February and read about the DME relay being a common problem with no starts. I replaced it, still nothing. I checked the ignition coil, it has the proper Ohm readings. I checked the wires they are fine and the fuses are fine. What should I check next?

Just to try to be simple about it....remove your air cleaner and shoot some starting fluid in and crank it over. See what happens.

The 3.2 Carreras have a problem with corrosion buildup on the positive battery cables. You might want to pull it, and clean it well. Eventually the fix is to replace the positive battery clamp. Also disconnect and clean your ground points in the front trunk and on the left side intake runner. It's probably one of these simple things.

Is the engine cranking over?
From your post it sounds like it isn't so concentrate on things like starter (is it clicking?), battery terminals, earth leads and possibly alarm/immobilser or ignition switch If it IS cranking over but not firing check fuel pump fuse (under front hood) for corrosion and DME relay, coil, leads etc

If you have a cold solder joint in your Motronic, cold weather can expand the gap and cause a no start, you would likely crank.
