SWB door squeegie question
 

I recently ordered new door squeegies from our host and the product I received 1: looked nothing like what was on the car and 2: did not fit. A couple of phone calls and an email and I was told I ordered the incorrect part and that what was sent was correct. If PET 6 is telling me the correct part number (911.531.931.40/42) then I ordered the corrrect part which would also match the part number that was sent. Did Porsche supercede this early squeegie? Am I ordering the correct part for a '68 911 Targa? I'd like to get this resolved so I can move forward with my project. My '66 912 has the same profile so I am reasonably certain this is the original part I am trying to match.

I would try posting this on the Early911S page. the depth of knowledge is impressive....
