muffler system for SSI 84-89

Can't seem to figure this out. Was hoping to hook up B&B's only to find out they don't make one that fits the SSI's designed for 84-89 Carrera. Could you let me know what choices I have? Thanks in advance.

M&K and Dansk are pretty popular.

Don't feel that you "have" to go with a $900-1200 muffler system.
I went with a 2 in 2 out Dynomax for less than $200. Any good Muffler shop will custom fab
pipes with flanges to the SSI's for ~$150.

Thanks for the quick replies..... Will look into those. Also I see GHL appears to be high on Pelican. Really trying to match the Bursch sound without the resonance.

PatrickB is right. I am having SSIs put on my 84 3.2 as I write this and went through a significant period of evaluation around mufflers. My car is serviced by HiTech auto in San Rafel, CA. They know the SSI people very well and have been recomending SSI for as long as they have been around as SSI is headquartered in Novato which is a few towns away. Even the SSI people say that the differences in performance(sound is another matter entirely) from one dual-in muffler to the next is negligible. The bulk of the bump in performance is going to come from the SSI. I went with the Dansk alumized muffler for $450 through HiTech. That said, if you live in a rougher climate than what we have here in Northern California, stainless may last longer.
